CTGS resonators
Achieving quick startup and energy-efficient operation with new piezoelectric material
A resonator developed with a new material, “Langasite type piezoelectric single crystal (CTGS)”, created by Tohoku University. The most important feature of this material is its low resonance resistance, which enables the resonator’s quick startup and energy-efficient operation. By paving the way for improvements in processing speed, power consumption, and design, this resonator will expand the possibilities of IoT devices.

Crystal oscillator IC for timing devices
Achieving ultra-low power consumption and low phase noise with innovative circuit technology
Developed in collaboration with Associate Professor Masaya Miyahara at the High Energy Accelerator Research Organization and others, this is the world's highest performance, most highly integrated oscillator circuit (IC). Elimination of unnecessary electricity consumption and pursuit of oscillating signal quality have resulted in a circuit with about 90% less power consumption and 10dB less phase noise compared to conventional oscillator circuits. When combined with the CTGS resonator, the circuit offers even better performance.
- Ultra-low power consumption oscillator circuit
- BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) energy consumption estimate
- Phase noise characteristics
